On the Jewish calendar, this is the time when we inspect our lives to see how we are measuring up to God’s standard, repent, and seek God’s forgiveness and help for a better year. As a nation it is an opportunity to seek God for another chance to return to Him. In case you haven’t noticed, we have fallen far from the mark.
